A once good dream is never lost

I’m Janus, born in Chihuahua, Mexico. I’m a self taught musician, studied programming and now work as a freelance in visual arts and shoot short movie films. I love playing guitar and piano, cooking and learning new ways to make coffee. During college year I joined a couple bands and played until we split while I lived in Monterrey, MX for 3 years. I ended up moving to Seattle, WA in 2022 for work purposes and now live here with my two cats Silvia and Emilio. In 2024 I joined the Melonbars for a brief time as support guitarist and currently am working solo on my own projects.

Every day I wake up to make espresso and start creating something whether it’s a meme, a new song, picture editing or collaging. My favorite artists are Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno, David Lynch, Satoshi Kon, Dennis Villeneuve. My favorite bands: Vangelis, Daft Punk, Blonde redhead, Duval Timothy, Alex G, Jimmy Woo, Against All Logic/Nicolas Jaar, and many others…
